A Divine Riddle

Q: What one thing has every person seen that God hasn’t ever seen? Give two verses to back it up.

God Almighty

A: Any person can see his equal but God never gazes upon His own equal. Passages addressing this idea include 1 Samuel 2:2; 1 Kings 8:22-23; 2 Chronicles 6:14; Psalm 77:13; 86:8; 89:6; and Isaiah 40:18, 25 — and this list doesn’t even include the Lord’s monologue in Job 38-42!

Thanks to Carol Rutz for pointing me toward the answer (and to Logos Bible Software for making my search of supporting verses a bit quicker).

Send email to Ask the Pastor.
