Who Wrote the Most Bible Books?

Q: Who wrote the most books of the Bible? My friends are debating this. Friend One says Moses. Friend Two isn’t sure, but swears it isn’t Moses.

A: Saint Paul wrote Romans — Philemon. He wins. Moses probably wins for total words (Genesis — Deuteronomy), with Luke, John, and David, Jeremiah, and Isaiah following behind. We’re not sure who finally compiled Samuel — Kings and 1 & 2 Chronicles.

Or we can look at it in another way: Since “all Scripture is breathed out by God, (inspired, 2 Timothy 3:16)” then the Breath of God (the Holy Spirit) gets credit for the whole thing!
