Critique of The Purpose-Driven Church

A Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod layman, Mr. Scott Diekmann, provides a new, from-the-pew look at Rick Warren's book. Aardvark Alley has a brief summary analysis, or you may follow the links below to read online or download.

Having looked at Mr. Diekmann's essay myself, I'm even more convinced that the only reason to study it in a Lutheran congregation is to point out the differences between Biblical, Law and Gospel, salvation by grace through faith in Christ Christianity and man-centered, Christ-obscuring, pseudo-Evangelical teachings espoused by Warren and others.
