That’s Navajo and Spanish, respectively, for “Merry Christmas.” We lived in Gallup, New Mexico for almost 10 years, so I thought I’d start the greetings out this way, rather than with a nod to my own heritage — Fröhliche Weihnachten.

However you say it, the Feast of the Nativity is here; “let heaven and nature sing!”
