Speaking personally, I’ve lost a mentor, and a friend. Dr. Robbert was kind and godly man who fed my love of history, especially the history of Christ’s Church. I think that four members of my family took courses from him and he and my father were particularly close. He also for many years hosted the annual Texas party each year in his home on Faculty Row. Please pray for Louise (also Dr.) Robbert and the rest of the family.

I am doing some geneological research into the Buenger family. I understand that Dr. Louise Buenger has done much in that area. I am trying to contact her to see if my family has any links to the Buengers that were founding members of the LCMS. I appreciate any help you can give in facilitating contact with her.
